We had so much fun Saturday night hosting Chris & Allison's baby shower! Since he's a home builder & the bedding is "Little Builder," we found it fitting for a "Baby Under Construction" theme! With 6 different hosts {only 2 of which actually live in Atlanta}, my OCD-side was a little worried...but why?! These girls are the best...we all brought our ideas and it exploded into such a cute shower. And it couldn't be for a better family. Chris & Allison have such wonderful, big, gracious hearts. A few years ago {with looks of wonderment from all of us}, they told us they were going to adopt the precious children, Shundrika-now 15 and Zollise-now 10, that had been living in foster care with them for a year or so. What?!? Yes! And I {much less Chris & Allison} can't imagine our world without them! And now, they're having a little one...good thing Shundrika has been certified in Babysitting!!! Really...I know Chris & Allison will adjust just fine to being a mommy & daddy, but since Shundrika won the "Diaper the Baby" game, it might be nice to have her around!!
Congrats Chris & Allison {and Shundrika & Zollise}...we can't wait to meet baby boy Kelly!!
