Happy Birthday Kevin!!!

Happy 36th Bday to the best Husband and Daddy ever! Nothing makes me happier than just being with him and watching him with Hudson! He puts up with quite a bit {most of it from me} and still loves being Husband, Best Friend and Daddy to me & Hudson!
We hope you have a terrific day today!!!

Craziness!

Well, if you haven't heard, Atlanta is in a gas shortage! It is CRAZY! Everytime I pass a gas station, there is a line a cars with at least one lane of traffic blocked! I've never seen anything like this for such an extended period of time (that being 3 days)! Gov Perdue (props - love him) is allowing "dirtier gas" (b/c the ATL is so smoggy) and tankers to drive over the current 11 hour restriction...hopefully all will be better soon! But instead of laying low and avoiding all this mess (with my over 1/2 tank full), I only add to this drama & stop into the QT! Most gas stations are charging $4.29 and the QT was only $3.97...these days every penny counts! So 40 minutes and at least 35 cars later, we have a full tank so we are guaranteed to make it down to the Loveliest Village Friday!

This was about half-way through the line!

To add to this craziness, what is up with Hudson-man's hair after his nap today?!?!?!

Savannah

Well, we've returned home from our first trip to Sister's new house! They moved to Savannah (actually Richmond Hill) in April and finally moved into their brand new house just last weekend!! I am now so jealous of the brand new & can't wait to use some of her ideas. Although, as I am writing, I look over at Husband and Hudson reading a book & finding "BeeBos" (belly buttons) on the couch together, I really couldn't ask for anything more!!
Anyway, on to the trip. We drove into Savannah Friday for lunch, to walk the river and see what City Market had to offer. Best part for me, Savannah's Candy Kitchen where I indulged on Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge!!! Yummmmmy! We drove back to Richmond Hill and toured Ford Plantation! What an almost surreal southern community. Apparently Henry Ford visited, fell in love and decided to pump mucho $$$ into Richmond Hill...hence, the Ford Plantation. His vacation home still sits as "Main House" on the property. So very beautiful, quiet and quaint. But I'm pretty sure we won't be buying into the neighborhood, starting lot w/ house, $1.2 mil!
Saturday was pretty much filled with food, relaxing and Auburn Football (that seemed to go on forever)! But as long as I have Buffalo Chicken Dip and an Auburn Win, life is good! I mean, at least our defense stood out!
Enjoy the pics!

Thought'ful' Thursday

Ah, the simple things in life! Playing in a bucket at Mimi's while daddy washes the car (since water usage is still banned in the ATL)!

Water & Cups = Hours O' Fun!

"Parents of the Year"

Splish Splash

What could be better than this?

Such Sweetness!

Sorry it's been so long for a post...I can't believe it's already mid-Sept! My mind these days is racing to planning a TWO YEAR OLD Bday party! What?!?!
