This past weekend we headed down to the lake...mainly for some "yearly cleanup!" It mostly consisted of the girls sitting around the beach bonfire making yummy smores, the kiddos throwing things in the lake for the dogs to fetch while the big boys did the hard labor! And I mean HARD Labor...the replaced THREE 30+ year old, water-logged, 4-feet-in-the-ground dock posts!! {Which also included hauling 6 bags of 80 lb Quikrete down "the hill" & 1 bag back up "the hill!"} Sure makes me glad I'm not a boy!
Harper is also FIVE now! His big bday was last Thursday, so we were able to celebrate with him too! I can't believe he's five & will be in Kindergarten next year...time really flies. And it only means Little Man will be there shortly! Oh, how I wish he could stay little forever!
