Plugs

No, Husband is not getting hair plugs for his ITR's {if you don't know an ITR, you may not want to ask}. Anyway, just a few shameless plugs for some new buddies...we really like these two crazy kids, and we seriously like all the things they're up to! If you're in the market for some awesomely good food or water ski/wakeboarding gear {weird combo, I know}, check these guys out!! And believe me, the food is definitely worth the drive!! Best Wishes Jenna & Tadd...We're already planning what our next yummy meal will be & hope to get a ski run in next time too!

61 MAIN Restaurant - Jenna focuses on using food from local farmers & businesses {she even made a Gluten-free diet for a local club}...she is so very talented & I'll be dreaming of my Primanti sandwich for nights to come!!!

H2Osmosis - now, even though these guys water-skied for uat, they sure are cool! Tadd opened up a store in Talking Rock, GA {which brought us to 61 Main, YEA} in addition to the store Seth Stisher runs in Charleston! You can visit the stores, ski with Seth {who is featured in Water Ski Mag this month} in Charleston, or just order via mail!! They are terrific skiers, but also take one-on-one time to really help each customer with individual needs!

Hudson's 2 Year Portraits

What a handsome fella...I mean I really could eat him with a spoon! We took Hudson's 2 Year Portraits this afternoon at a close-by park. I don't know who had more fun though...Mommy taking the pics or Hudson running crazy. I love this age, and his little personality comes out more each day. While getting ready for our pics, he pushes his arm through the shirt hole and immediately & excitedly yells, "HANDSOME!"

I'M IT!!

Well, Allyson tagged me so here goes 10 honest things all about me...

• I {heart} Ironing...I know, I'm crazy! It started at a very young age ironing my NKOTB New Kids on the Block sleep shirt...yes SLEEP shirt!
• I am obsessed with finding good deals...on anything!! Husband always jokes with me when I say "I saved {insert $}"...with "or did you spend {insert same $}!" But how could I pass up my latest find, these cuties for $4 {in-store}!!! I mean, of course I had to buy sizes 7 - 8 - 9 1/2 - 10 - 10 1/2 - 11 and 12 for Hudson-man!!
• I kill most any plant - inside or out. Milford {our ivy plant Kevin bought in 2001} is still alive only due to Husband's watering! It's not that I don't love plants, I just can't keep them living...I usually plant outside & rely solely on rain & sun to keep them growing.
• I L-O-V-E football...Auburn Football by far, but put any football game on & I'm set! Husband gets irritated though b/c I must "chose" a team to pull for! Even if it is only b/c their colors...I'm still a girl afterall!
• Baking is my all-time passion...I've always said if we ever move back to Opelika/Auburn, I want to open a bakery/sandwich shop!
• Photography is my new passion...I enjoyed taking pictures, but Hudson really brought out my love for it and for capturing the emotions of a single moment!
• I am extremely organized and always have a To-Do List of some sort. Marking things off my list make me feel like I've accomplished something. And how do people live without the mantra "everything has a place?"
• Dancing is my favorite hobby...I love tap, jazz and ballet but stopped taking after college. Good news, Husband found a ballet class with Atlanta Ballet that is during little man's MMO & I've been going off and on!!!
• {And on that note} Husband is my BEST friend. I could hang out with him all day everyday. {And super-bonus...he likes to go shopping with me!} He has the ability to find things for me I would never pick out that look so much better than what I pick out! I love him dearly & couldn't imagine my life without him!
• I really want another little one. About 3 years ago, we did a few failed science experiments & decided to "stop trying & wait a few months", which resulted in our little surprise miracle the very next month. This time seems to be so much of the same...no science experiments yet {unless one considers "low-grade" drugs experiments} but it definitely takes me back. The praying, the tears, the heartache, the patience to know it is all in God's time. And truthfully, I have my Hudson and if he is all I get, I will be content and completely settled.

So, enough about me...you're up: Beth Bowman, Erin Shelton, Kelli McBrayer, Crystal Farley & Maggie Cooper! Get on it!!!!

BOATS!!!

Today was family day at the Atlanta Boat Show! Hudson LOVES boats {as well as his Daddy} so they were both in heaven!! I'm pretty sure Hudson climbed on at least half of the boats...he kept saying "Huge," "Cool," "Wow!" Just precious! I'm glad naptime showed up when it did, I think Husband was ready to leave with a new Mastercraft!!! Oh, well sweetie...maybe one day soon you'll have a brand new one!

Kelly Baby Under Construction

We had so much fun Saturday night hosting Chris & Allison's baby shower! Since he's a home builder & the bedding is "Little Builder," we found it fitting for a "Baby Under Construction" theme! With 6 different hosts {only 2 of which actually live in Atlanta}, my OCD-side was a little worried...but why?! These girls are the best...we all brought our ideas and it exploded into such a cute shower. And it couldn't be for a better family. Chris & Allison have such wonderful, big, gracious hearts. A few years ago {with looks of wonderment from all of us}, they told us they were going to adopt the precious children, Shundrika-now 15 and Zollise-now 10, that had been living in foster care with them for a year or so. What?!? Yes! And I {much less Chris & Allison} can't imagine our world without them! And now, they're having a little one...good thing Shundrika has been certified in Babysitting!!! Really...I know Chris & Allison will adjust just fine to being a mommy & daddy, but since Shundrika won the "Diaper the Baby" game, it might be nice to have her around!!

Congrats Chris & Allison {and Shundrika & Zollise}...we can't wait to meet baby boy Kelly!!

Two Years...

...and his first real "Haircut!" And I would actually call it more of a trim. I was for sure he would freak out once he climbed in the booster seat, but he didn't. He definitely looks freaked out, but he sat very still and quiet, just taking it all in {just like our Hudson-man}!
